Supporting our Community

The Kingsley Group as a whole believes it is important to take Corporate Social Responsibility seriously and so we undertake a number of projects in order to help support our local communities as well as helping local people in need when we can.

 Worthing Food bank and Re-Loved

Two projects we are extremely proud to sponsor are Worthing Food bank and Re-loved (also based in Worthing, West Sussex.)

One way in which the Kingsley Group have given support to these charities is by providing a van to help with the transport needs of these two valuable projects, as well as covering the ongoing fuel and maintenance costs for the vehicle. The photo at the top of the page shows our Managing Director, Jeremy Taylor happily handing over the keys.

The Food Bank Project is designed to help individuals and families in crisis by providing free emergency food. For more details on the Worthing Food Bank project or to see how you can help please contact Worthing Food Bank.

Re-Loved sources furniture for those in need in the community.  If you are thinking of giving away any good quality items, which can be passed on, please contact Re-loved.

Charity Dragonboat race in aid of Re-Loved, 30th August 2015

As a company, Kingsley Roofing are keen to help charitable causes whenever possible and so when the opportunity came up to participate in the Shoreham Riverfest charity Dragonboat competition we jumped at the chance.

Our team of novice rowers consisted of staff members, family and friends as well as one of the volunteers from our chosen local charity, Re-Loved.

In total, 16 teams were competing for the trophy with the racing taking place over 220 metres of the River Adur. All teams competed in 3 rounds of racing with the four fastest teams going through to the final.

We were delighted to make it through to the final and proud to say that after a hard fought race Kingsley Roofing won the competition with a winning time of 39 seconds and a speed of 8 knots!

We were proud to have raised £700 for Re-Loved through sponsorship for this event.

We have received the following thank you from Maxwell’s dad Pete:

St James Church in Birdham

Kingsley Roofing have also recently helped St James’ Church in Birdham, West Sussex, by providing a new lining for their church font, the original having been stolen some time ago. The photo below shows the re-lined font and links to the thank you letter we received.
